Tale
It tells the story of 20 characters who live in a huge social housing project in the Negev desert. It’s a terrible movie. No script or guide. The characters’ sentences are unclear and in most cases make no sense. Many of the cutscenes are too long and can last 10 minutes, instead of ending after half a minute. Also – the main character can repeat the same sentence with the same word 5-7 times… a sentence that adds nothing to the plot. The locations look like the movie was made with a budget of $1000, and you’re constantly trying to understand what they add and how they relate to the plot. This is not the first movie I’ve seen by this director… and they all have the same problems, so I wonder – how does this director manage to get budgets and find producers for his movies…
